“The Garnet mine” is a pavilion, in which it is possible to pan out the famous semi-precious stone of the Urals - grass green garnet (demantoid), from a special pool. Any garnets you may pan out – you can keep with your treasures!

Experienced garnet prospectors explain the techniques of garnet panning. With patience and a bit of luck you might find a real semi-precious stone.

In this pavilion you know a lot of new information about different species of garnet – green uvarovite, black andradite, yellowish-brown spessartine, green-grass demantoide and red almandine as well as see samples of these garnets.
